Laura and Warren live at 226 Forest Drive, Mount Kisco, NY 10549--since 1998.
Laura has the same name as Kevin's grandmother; will find out if she was named for her. Laura worked for three years in Washington, DC, after graduating college, then moved to NYC in 1985 to live with her cousin Julie Kelly, Roger's daughter (who soon moved on to grad school in Los Angeles, where she met her husband Peter Detwiler). Laura stayed on in Manhattan, working as a managing editor for 10 years or so at a variety of magazines, meeting her husband Warren (a journalist) at one of them.
She joined Reader's Digest, an hour north of NYC, in 1995 and became global editor-in-chief of the condensed books series and other book series.
Laura left Reader's Digest in fall 2008 and joined Warren in his writing business (see www.warrenberger.com), working on a variety of editorial and digital projects.
