Larry Kelly, like his brothers, attended law school, then went on to a varied career which included partnership with brothers Jerry and Walter in Kelly Bros. Real Estate in Singer Island, Florida.
After noticing Olga's health improved when she was in Florida, Larry decided to move the family there. He bought six plots of land from his brother Emmett on Singer Island and established the Yacht Harbor Lodge. Sadly, Olga died in Detroit just prior to the move to Florida. Larry married Marcia "Marty" eight years later.
Larry retired at the age of 66 in 1972-3 then moved to North Carolina with Marty near Ashville, 20 miles from Mt. Mitchell in the Smoky Mountains.

Olga (Janson) Kelly, Larry's first wife, was a teacher in Detroit. She died when she was only 41.
